Kevin "Toto" Wagaman (Co. 13) stopped by to pick up an application and "ready to ride Big Red"

Self Explanatory !!!!

A "Chicken" (just from where??, which is unknown), was found walking beside the fire station.

After a period of time, the chicken was caught for a quick pose before being re-released to cluck on its way.

A tractor-trailer driver came up McKinley Street and hit the overpass, then fled the scene to be later captured by the CPD.   It is not unusual though for trucks to hit the bridge.

Career F/F Kelly Knepper backing up "Big Red" and getting the

"feel" of what it will be like someday.

"One Man's Junk is another Man's Treasure"

Every year, the Borough of Chambersburg

offers the residents a "Bulky Day" to put

old items out along the curb to be picked up

by the borough and hauled away to the dump.

This event also brings out the "scavengers" to

search for items of interest.

Saturday, May 7th, 2005- Members were outside

of the station and noticed a "BRONX standard

Pickup Truck" coming down the street with a

load of "junk" being hauled.

The Bronx pickup (wheelbarrow) stopped

across from the station at a house and began

to evaluate the items of "interest".

A new spare tire for the "truck" was being inspected

After a collection of additional "items", the

"truck" proceeded on down McKinley Street.

OH !! so you finally have seen the "light".

Sure Matt, Thanks and here's your application.

HERE IT COMES !! THE FUTURE !!
